Family Reunion thus far

For Scott et all and Greg et all who haven't been able to join us quite yet, I thought you may want an idea of what we've done here:

First day-

1. Bippe and Mel and Rachel first to arrive. We picked them up at the airport after getting my (Leighann) birthday present of my very own temple clothing! Yeah!! :) To both things.


2. Came home, then, after mom and Bippe left to pick up Mark and Tommy and families, David and Heather and Tommy arrived. Tommy was soooo happy to meet his new cousin Rachel (will try to put video on).


3. Mom and Bippe arrive home with everyone, and it's a big joyful reunion. I was super tired, but decided to stay up since everyone was so giggly, and big Tommy insisted we stay up ALL NIGHT talking. :D It was fun.

Day 2-Saturday-

1. Kids wake up super early. Everyone gets up at various times, including me and Heather who woke up to see Anna and Kelsey standing next to our bed...coincidentally to our waking, we kept being poked and asked if we were awake yet. Go fig.


2. Kids played all day long together- All the women went to Wal Mart to stock up on various supplies.


3. Arrive home and all the kids get excited about playing outside on a slip and slide- a big storm came up suddenly, however, and that plan was nixed due to the possibility of lightning.


4. Dinner was West Virginia dogs-I'll see if I can attach a picture. They are big hit--in fact, after Church a lot of people had some for lunch! It is a recipe I brought back from WV, that a ton of people in my mission love. David almost didn't try them, but I insisted and he liked them so much, he had one for lunch today. Van ate 4 yesterday and 2 at lunch today and asked me for the recipe.


5. After dinner mom baked some oatmeal choco chip cookies for dessert, and the kids went to bed.


6. big Tommy, Mark, David, Bippe and I went with dad to take a private tour of the Cement Plant- it was amazing to see all the dad does. We are all so amazed by his knowledge and what his role in the new plants' development- what an awesome dad we have!! :D


7. Come home and have family prayer and send the rest of the kids to bed and the adults played scum.

Sunday-

1. Church.


2. come home and eat lunch...and that is about it now! Love you all! Wish you were here!!
