We are in the San Fransico area for my family reunion right know. We went crabbing- a Cooper family favorite- down at a pier that is under the Golden Gate Bridge. These are photos from my brothers camera so I will most likely put on a few more pictures when we get home.

wow, looks like a lot of fun! I love SF. I grew up near there so I totally miss it. The weather looks nice too which is rare for SF.
Do you cook the crab first and the pull out the meat for the gumbo? I don't know the first thing about crabbing, but I love your big smile Magi!
That sounds like so much fun! Oh, while I'm thinking of this- when we go to Sedona in 2 years we need to go seining! :)
Such a fun time your family have. I remmeber those day in VietNam i use to sometime catch some Grabs and grill them right at the beach yum...i hope one day i'll get chance to tates the seafood gymbo, is it good as the gymbo you make before ?
