So this morning I had my first accounting class, and I just LOVE how my new professor explains things, and how he expects us to do our best.
It had never occurred to me before the mission that I could apply the same principles of thought and study that I use as I read the scriptures and other Church things to my temporal learning. When I was serving with Sister Arisa Sanchez, she would talk so much about BYU and how they merge the two "schools of thought"- spiritual and temporal. Ultimately, temporal things do affect us spiritually, and vice versa; so I don't know why this had never occurred to me before.
Anyway, as I sat in class this morning, I felt the Spirit also teaching me. It was an amazing experience as things were called back to my remembrance, and as I realized that I understood these beginning concepts, and that YES, I CAN be a great student! I am just excited by this revelation, and thought I would share my excitement. After all, I couldn't be doing what I am doing without the love, prayers, and support of all of you, my beautiful family :) I love you all, and am so grateful for the gospel in our lives!!!
P.S. Writing this online makes me feel like I am a missionary again...I like that feeling... :D
