Still in the Hospital but doing well

It has been a while since I gave everyone an update, so I thought I would rectify that. Rebecca is still in the hospital, but she should be home soon. I'm getting very, very ready for her to come home. She is still on oxygen, but the doctor says that she will most likely just come home on oxygen. She ate really well for me this afternoon, and she keeps getting bigger. The last I asked, she was 4lbs 13oz. Sarah and Elizabeth came home about the time that they hit five pounds, so I have high hopes. Thanks for all your prayers and I will let you know when she is home.

Elizabeth really liked it being her turn to go see Rebecca. She was full of questions and comments about everything. Rebecca got a blood transfusion between these two pictures. You can see how much her color improved.

We're still not sure what color hair she is going to have, but her eyes are looking blue.

This is just a fun picture I took of the kids at a doctor's appointment. Cameras can be great entertainment.

Why did Rebecca need a blood transfusion? That's scary stuff, isn't it? I never had a preemie, so I don't know this stuff. Love you.

That is so great that Rebecca is doing so well!! She is so adorable- perfectly shaped head! (no one tease me about that comment...my brain is fried right now, haha)

Cameras sure can be good entertainment. I love letting Beth and Matthew play with my camera- they come back with some really good shots!! :)

She has so much hair. I was surprised. So glad she is still improving.

I never really understood why she needed the transfusion. They said something was low and that the blood would make it better. I'm not quite as scared of them as I used to be since I now know how much better a person can feel after getting blood. I'm more of the opinion that if she needs it, give it to her.
None of my other kids needed transfusions.

We wish we could be there to see all the kids. I'm sorry to think that she'll be nearly two when we first see Rebecca! We pray for her strength and to be able to go home soon.
