Beth got a little scared when the spider got to her neck.
People in our ward have shown us two Tarantulas in the last week. The first was a small male so the kids were disappointed they couldn't hold it. The missionaries brought over this female. The kids thought it was so great. Everyone held it. Emma was the most possessive though. She cried every time she couldn't hold the spider because someone else wanted a turn.

They are so brave. I used to have a tarantula when I was in high school. They are cool animals. Matthew looks so old in this picture.

ugh! it gives me shivers! Thats cool that all your kids will hold it. I wouldn't mind looking at it behind glass but I can't stand creepy crawlies. If I see a spider in the house I have to kill it. I like them in the garden though to keep the bad bugs away.
If the kids like spiders, you should send them here to us...we get spiders crawling in the house almost every day! They'd have a blast!
