Salt Lake City Project
This is the project I'm working on in Salt Lake City. It is called the "City Creek Mall" and stands directly across South Temple Street from the SLC Temple (you can see the rough rendering of the temple in the video). The video isn't complete, and missing a lot of the finishes and details, but you get the idea. Almost every building is new within the two city blocks. Right now I'm working on finish materials for all the elevator/escalator lobbies, detailing how the walls and materials are built-up. It's an incredible experience to work on something like this!

That is so cool! I had no idea you were doing this for the church. I've heard of the project though, guess because I live in Utah. Do they have an estimated completion date? It looks like it is going to be really nice. I'll have to forward this post to my sister, she lives in downtown SLC.
Very cool. It's fun to think we'll be walking through something you helped designed. (I am sure we'll make it up for Conference again.)
The project is set to open in spring of 2012. A project this size, though, will mean an open date of December 2012 (or later!)
Wow I like the creek in the middle of the city and the ceiling that opens!
Wow!! That looks like it is going to be awesome!! And my brother has helped designed it- that is the most awesome-est part of it :) Love you!
WOW! What an awsome project. It looks like you guys are being blessed for moving your feet and going on faith. Congratulations. I cant wait to see the finished renders.
