So we ran out of diapers last night and I decided that instead of running out to get more that Tommy would try to potty train this week. Grandma alread bought him the coolest undies that he is excited to wear. Im just sick of changing 20+ diapers a day with the 2 kids. Plus it seams like Tommy is getting bigger and needs to be in the next size up. So instead of doing that we will potty train. So far hes running around bottom less and no accidents yet. I think he is ready because he will run and get a diaper and tell me he needs a diaper on when he usually has to go. We are just waiting for the actual event on the toilet. Good luck you guys!! I'm sure Tommy being potty trained will be nicer on the wallets, too! I think he can do it- tell him Yanny Fanny Butt says she knows he can be a big boy and do as big boys do. :) Love you guys, glad you made it home safe!
Good luck, it sounds like he is ready. I know I don't want two kids in diapers, thats half the reason I haven't gotten pregnant yet. I always give Rachel a treat if she goes pee in the potty and two if she poops. I keep a bag of yogurt covered raisins in a drawer in the bathroom for her treat. Its much better than candy. Lately she hasn't been very interested in the potty so I am going to try putting her potty on the big toilet and see if she likes that. I would say just let him go at his own pace.
Good luck. Potty training is fun and hard at the samt time. Khai was potty train when he was 26 months. There are many way to potty train kid. what we did to potty train Khai, for first week let he wear shirt and underwear just in the morning if he doing great move to next step potty train all day accept nap time and bed time ( put on pullup for him) our kids usually need to go about 30 min -45 min ( it's depend on each of them ) After they drink a cup of juice or water and after a meal. you'll like it when he start to go at the first time and later on.
