The doctor told me about a month ago to stop the oxygen and put an oxygen monitor on Rebecca for a day and if she doesn't drop below 92% that whole day, then I can keep it off. I just have to test her about 5 times the next 3 days to make sure she is still doing ok. At first, every time I stopped the oxygen, her levels would drop to the 80s and I would have to put it back on her, but yesterday I tried again, and she is doing great. It has now been 26 hours and she is staying around 99%. I'm glad I don't have to keep that monitor on her anymore. Last night was awful. Every time she would move around, it wouldn't read right and start beeping. To make matters even worse, it had a very bright light that we could turn off, but it would turn back on every time the alarm sounded. I didn't sleep much last night. The topper, though, is that Rebecca slept until 5:00 instead of 3:00 like normal, so I could have had a lot of sleep if it wasn't for that monitor! Oh well, it is great to have the oxygen off! She still has to have an apnea monitor on for a couple more weeks, but one cord is so much better than two.
Give me a High Five! I did it!

Soon the annoying beeping will be just a distant memory :D
Such happy news! She's adorable - looks like she has some chubby cheeks. I think that's great.
