Business Card

So I decided to finally design a business card, I have no idea what I am doing really so I would appreciate some feedback. Anything you think I should change or add or whatever. Thanks!

I think this is beautiful and well done. The photography is perfectly placed, the font is really nice, and the needed info is there. You're amazing. We love you.

The only thing that I would say is to print it from your printer first. Thats the best way that Ive found to see how everything works together. It looks like your font for your info may be too small to read when printed. I would just take a look at that. I think it looks great. There is one leaf on the temple picture by the baby that looks like a smudge. I would erase that. Isnt photoshop so much fun?

If you plan on having a printer do the printing, see about a heavy stock with gloss finish and two-sided. You might be able to put your contact info printed large on the back of the card without photos. When I got my business cards a few years ago, I got 5,000 (the smallest package) done for about $250. Plus, it's a possible business expense for you.

you might want to fog the line from the bottom of tha baby pic to the top of the beach one. it doesnt look harsh or anything but you might want to try it and see if it works.

I like Mark's idea of putting the contact info on the back. Also, can you make the font a little thicker?

Shannon's idea of blurring the lines is a good one also. And Heather is right about taking out the one leaf.

One thing we talk about a lot in Business classes and presentations is the importance of having a professional e-mail also. You may want to make a seperate e-mail account for your business. Something like: heathergibbons.photography@gmail.com or something. (don't use underscore's as sometimes people can mistake them for hyphens which would send the e-mail to the wrong address, and vice-versa). Also, by having a different e-mail from your private one you can put both MSN and Gmail (or some other provider) on tabs which open at the same time when you start the internet and make it easier to check on a daily basis.

Looks great though!! You're so talented!! :D

This is so cool to have so much help in our family!

I asked my roommate who is somewhat particular about design things, and she suggested more contrast in the pictures :D

Hope you don't mind all these critiques-- just want it to be perfect for you!!

The only thing I think is maybe you should wait for the Packer wedding. They are two good looking kids.
