(This is David posting this at Mom & Dad's, spending Mother's Day weekend here)
On Monday at 3pm I have a phone meeting with the Studio Head/Content Manager of Rhett and Link. I feel confident that being able to pitch this game project idea over the phone will allow me the chance to get her excited about this project to the point that she can help me push it through with Rhett & Link.
If I can get them on board, and they agree to work with me, (to loosely quote Pedro running for Class President) "all of our wildest dreams will come true."
Please keep us in your prayers, my whole family who is able to will be fasting and praying that I will be able to convince this lady and Rhett and Link to want to work with us.
We love you all!

Really hoping the the phone interview goes well!
So glad you posted so Roy and I can fast for you tomorrow! Good luck!!
We are praying!!
UPDATE: So the meeting went really really well! The Head of Production/Content Manager even said "Well I think this meeting went fantastic!" She had some really good concerns and I was able to tactfully obliterate them, and after being promised "20-25 minutes" ended up being almost an hour meeting.
I didn't even have to ask what the next step is, she said "The next step after I take these notes to the guys to give them my soft pitch is we'll most likely fly you out to meet Rhett and Link and you can give them your pitch in person!"
So she said she'll get back to me by the end of the week and let me know time-frame for this.
Thank you so much family for being so supportive of me and my dreams! Looks like I may just be able to deliver on those promises of houses in Hawaii! :-P
That is terrific! So glad things are moving forward!
Woohoo
This is so, so exciting! Peter and I have been big fans of Rhett and Link for a long time, so it is so cool that you might be working with them. When they see your passion for this project, I'm sure they'll get on board!!
Love you guys, and so happy that you're on your way for all your wildest dreams to come true!
