Aaron and I have been having lots of fun. I am 17 weeks pregnant and we have been planning our shower and gender reveal! I had to show you our invitations because they are so cute, and I am so excited to find out who this little person is! By the way, Aaron and I both strongly think boy, but knowing the Gibbons genes it will be a girl. I am still very sick, but Aaron continues to wake up with me and hold my hair every time. The women at church have been particularly nice, and it just brightens our testimonies when people help us so much for nothing. Literally people have dropped off goodies anonymously just because. As for life other than baby, Aaron's still in school, but almost done with his first year. He only has two weeks left until summer and house chores! He has done very well, and has made great friends while doing so. Some of which are the ones throwing us the shower/reveal. And you can see, in his most recent picture of our home made slip n slide, while he is happy there is always a bit of panic in his eyes. I ended the school year and got to start summer school this last week. It's very fun and easy because it's just having lots of adventures when your 4 and 5 years old. We also have been enjoying the dog park with Sammy (black) and Maxie (yellow). We have Polly too while Mom and Dad travel and she is loving being allowed in the bed (she doesn't sleep in our bed but we nightly invite all fuzzy dogs up to cuddle). As for the house, courtesy of Dad and Mom, and my parents, who came out to help, both bathrooms are completely remodeled and in working order. Mom just came up last week to help paint the down stairs bedroom, where we will be living starting end of July. With the baby coming and so much still needing to be fixed downstairs we decided to move down their and rent out the 3 rooms upstairs to vet students. It will help a lot with bills and it will be nice to have something to keep working on while down there. Lots of big and exciting plans.
Well these Gibbons, in all our hub bub, are good. We love life and are moving through it and all its hardships day to day. Hope you all are well and we miss you all. Aaron and I were thinking that just about now we would be making our way through UT and see those families, and then land in SoCal and hang all summer with you guys. And then when summer was over go back and be with David and his family. We miss you all and can't wait till we see you ALL again!

Haahahaa! That photo of Aaron is hilarious! Love his grass stains. We are excited to find out what your having too and so excited the house is coming along.
Love how you got as near as possible with the dogs in the same pose as Aaron!
Thanks for posting an update Shannon! We love you guys!
(And I can see what you mean about panic in Aaron's eyes, from that pic! :-P)
You guys look great! The baby bump looks good on you Shannon and Aaron is looking pretty darn fit...I thought Gibbons gained weight in school...like a lot...and lost hair...and had to start using mouth guards at night because of grinding your teeth.... and only drink Henry Weinharts rootbeer.... okay enough about me.... - Tom
Love the update Kids--Thanks so much for keeping us posted. Mom and I can see that Polly seems really traumatized by it all! Love ya. Dad
Thanks guys. We are so happy about the baby and the house. Even though moving down stairs was what we originally planned its still an upgrade from our old way of life and we have lots of great plans for another bedroom and the kitchen.
We just can't be more blessed that we already are!
