That is so fantastic (to throw out another term)!!! Such an exciting time. I can't wait to see how it develops. Sure seems like a quick timeframe, but I'm sure you can pull it off.

I think you'd like it mom, it's a Young Adult book, so geared for the Harry Potter/Hunger Games/Maze Runner, etc crowd.

It's about a young man who's about to start high school who finds out he has super powers, but he's also been blind his whole life. He gets stuck in the Special Education class at school, where all 'Custodians' (people with super powers) go to learn how to develop their powers. It explores the implications of having super abilities while also being disabled, it's a really interesting twist on the whole superhero genre.

It's an entertaining read, but it's also getting praise as a work of fiction that portrays the disabled in a frank, honest way without feeling like it panders to them or makes the whole think feel gimmicky or precious. I have a pdf version of the book I can share if anyone's interested in reading it.

I'm interested! Especially so I'll be able to understand your game better if I can read it!
