Actually I was very excited to get the card, I'm grateful they took the time to send it and congratulate me....then promptly request a blog post about it.
So here goes, if you fall asleep I totally understand, when Mel needs a nap she asks "How was your day? Wait! let me get my pillow!".
I was promoted to Manager of my Engineering team September 1st. Nothing much changes, I have been doing this already for the past few years. I get a little more money, a few extra responsibilities that I didn't have before and potentially start losing my technical skills (Good thing Heather married Roy!). Yes this means call him with your tech related issues.
Mel and I feel very blessed and grateful for everything we have and know that it's because of the gospel in our lives. We strive to do that which we know to be right, recognize the Lords hand in everything and know that our loving family is right there to support us. We love you all and are excited for the next family reunion!
