Aaron and I got some maternity photos taken last week, and we wanted to share with you all. We are loving that our family is growing, and could not be more excited to become parents to our son Noah. Some photos its hard to tell how big I am getting but in the pic of just me its like BAM BELLY! lol And then obviously I am laughing a ton, because your brother is hilarious! (to me that is)
Well love you all and can't wait till these pics are of our baby boy!
While I am posting I might as well let you know about our lives... Aaron is serving as the secretary in Elders Quorum and I am serving as first counselor in RS presidency. So naturally with school and work we have since doubled our business. The house is coming along well. Dad comes up all the time to help and we could not be more grateful. Aaron has been doing a lot when it comes to the house too. He has basically redone our kitchen by himself. Mind you its piece meal work at times but he has installed our new counters and cabinets. I am doing lots of nesting and building of furniture for Noah. Naturally its very slow, because I am slow now days, but its getting done and we are getting ready for him in 2 months. Sammy and Maxie are still cute as ever and actually have a new playmate. One of our tenants upstairs has a dog Zoey who plays with our girls during the day and its very fun for them. Our tenants are also great! Very patient when things break and always kind. I throw them a meal every now and again to make sure they want to stay forever. 2 are first year Vets and the other is a Bio Medical Grad at Mizzou, so its nice and quiet with no parties! Aaron and I have made amazing friends in Columbia with Vet students, work friends, and church friends. Its so nice to be in one place for more than 9 months because we finally get to build relationships. Three of our friends from Vet school threw us a shower, which was great!
All in all life is great and busy, but Aaron and I wouldn't have it any other way. We are learning new things everyday about being home owners, parents, teachers and students. We are so so blessed and we know the Lord looks after us every single day. While sometimes things don't go OUR desired way (for example Aaron just saw today another tree in our place is falling down and we have to get it taken down...ugh) we know that the Lord knows us well and is preparing us for our future. Future lumber jacks it sounds like!
Well I think that is it! We miss you all very much and constantly wish we would all love closer. Cant wait to see you all in like 9 months at reunion! Lol if anyone wants to see our money pit when they come out just swing on by then! Love you all! Ta ta for now!

Thanks for posting this Shannon! I can't believe how fast time flies, little Noah will be here sooner than we know it! I know what you mean about being in a place where you can finally set your roots down a bit and actually feel more permanent.
