Also she can program it to 4 different volumes, so when I got used to one volume I can change it to another. When the doctor said which program do I like 1 or 2? and I said 1, because it was a little quieter. Then she said that I should stick with program 2, because my brain needs to adjust to the sounds. When anybody spoke to me when my hearing aid is off, I won't be able to understand what they are saying until I have my hearing aid back on.
Thank you for having me in your prayers everyone, I hope to see you in Family Reunion!
This is my x-ray they took right after my cochlear implant surgery. The circle at the top (kind of cut off in the photo) has the magnet that holds the external processor on. The big piece below it is the internal processor, and there are two lines coming off it. The lower line has all the electrodes (the dots) and curls inside the cochlea. The upper line is the ground. I am so grateful for this technology.
I love you all!
