Update
The dr. said this morning that if nothing unusual happens, Dad can come home tomorrow (Thursday) morning. His blood is now the right consistency and they are sure the coumidin prescription is correct. He now feels like a small elephant is on his chest instead of a large one! And his cough is somewhat better (the cough and gunk come from the lungs not working properly.) It will be 6-8 weeks before he is back to normal, breathing fine, and able to run on his treadmill fullout again. Love you all!

When I called dad and was taking to him, I could tell he was struggling to not cough. He was telling me all about his work plans now that his contract is over with the UAE and it just about broke my heart to hear him struggling to talk cause I knew he didn't want to cough very much while he was talking to me.
