Merry Christmas From Texas!
Scott had to work on Christmas Eve. As the kids and I were cleaning up the house to get ready for Christmas, we found a bag that had Scott's lunch in it. Elizabeth immediately responded that we had to go take him lunch. It worked out great. We stopped by Panda Express, to carry on the Chinese food on Christmas Eve tradition, and ate lunch with Scott at his work. He wasn't supposed to get off until after the kids were in bed, so it was great to spend some time with him.
Scott was able to get off work two hours early because the phones were dead! He was very happy to get home early and everyone had a pile on Daddy war. It was so much fun.
This year for Christmas I had the kids draw names and then make a gift for that person. We just included the kids in this. It was great. The kids actually thought about what the person they drew would like and worked hard to make them something special. Sarah sewed a blanket for Becca all by herself (with a little help,) Jacob made a really cool necklace and bracelet for Sarah out of beads and sea shells, Elizabeth painted a solar system for Jacob that he can hang on the ceiling in his room, and Becca painted a butterfly for Elizabeth. (Becca did not keep her's a secret very well, but she loved making Elizabeth something.)
Sarah loved her rainbow pajamas.
Elizabeth loved her Calico Critter's house
Jacob got a spy car that had a camera on it so that he can see what the car sees on a screen on the remote.
Becca loves her umbrella
Our dog Sammi got a present, too.

Thanks for posting! We sure miss you guys! I can't believe how much older the kids look, especially Jacob!
I love it - especially the pile on Daddy! So glad you had a wonderful Christmas. Only thing missing was a photo of Gwen!
Great pictures, especially the dog pile. I was a little disappointed to see Scott not wearing the famous red Gibbons reunion shirt in that one though. Love you guys.
Scott wore the red Gibbons reunion shirt on Christmas morning just for you, Greg!
Lots of fun!
