Puppet Show

We wanted to spend the afternoon with the kids yesterday so we looked into going bowling, but we were able to make a puppet theater that will last for years for the same amount of money.  In fact we had enough to left over to get some pizza for dinner.  We made sock puppets, too. It was a lot of fun.  The kids have been playing with it all day.
As soon as Sarah saw what we were making she had to run and get paper to start writing a script.  I told her to make her puppet, but she said she didn't have time to make the puppet because she had to get the script done. :-)
Becca doesn't like staying behind the backdrop.
Scott even made it so that you can open and close the curtains with a cord.
It's nice because it will all fold flat for storage.

Did you have a pattern or did you come up with this on your own? It's great - and what fun for a long time to come.

Scott came up with the frame on his own then I figured out how to sew a sheet on to it.
