So I have officially accepted the job as Lead Artist at Black Lantern Studios! It sounds like an amazing company, very much like Budcat. They do family-friendly games, mostly licensed content, like Dora, SpongeBob, the Backyardigans, etc. and have been very flexible already with me (by allowing me to take a week off for the family reunion!!)
So Happy Dave is happy!! I love you family, thanks for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers! We really feel the Lord's hand in this.

yay!! I really do think the Lord's hand is in this in sooo many ways (one of which is now Aaron and Shannon will still have family in the state for when mom and dad move back to AZ)! Congrats on selling the Iowa house, the new job, the happiness and the testimony building! :)

Heather-weather i couldn't have said it better! Aaron and i were so worried about basically having no family for 8 hours north and south, and we had been praying for comfort when mom and dad move, because i will be honest i was REALLY going to miss seeing them so much. and then david said he might get a job in springfield, and it is such a blessing in so many ways for us but mostly them.
congrats david! thats amazing that you get to be in place that has artistic fun! see you guys at the end of summer!!!

I hope you like to paint Shannon! I can't wait. We are going to have so much fun. It will be so nice to have extra family to feed on a regular basis. This will be the closest that we will live to family in a very long time.

yaya and good to know i have about 2 more months to live. just please don't serve me up with cilantro, i hate the smell and i would like that to be my dying wish.
