Shannon- "Aaron wake up!!! You're getting LASIK"
Aaron- "Mmmm... good morning..."
Aaron- " WAIT WHAT?!?!? No more glasses?"
Shannon- "yep your eyes will be able to see like mine."
Aaron- (happy sounds) "AH, LA, DUH,MA, YAAAAAAAAAA" Well if it wasn't obvious Aaron will be getting LASIK eye surgery on the 25th of this month and we are both very excited! He is a great candidate, and they say he will have 20-20 vision and wont start needing glasses again until he is in his 40's. We cant wait and this will be such a help with him being a vet and not having to worry about his glasses being broken! Hope everyone is having a great week and we love and miss you all!

Yeah!!!!! Now I wont feel guilty for bending your glasses when I tackled you into the river! You should only need glasses for reading only when you're in your 40's. Congrats!

haha wow you guys are odd, but yay!!! I'm so jealous. It'll make taking pictures easier too so you won't get that glare on his lens!

Hey, this was all Shannon, and she was giggling the whole time she was looking through old photos

lol greg dont worry about it, i know it looked really bad but it wasn't horrible. the thing thats messing up his glasses is the scratch resistant coating on them that gets worn off easily.

aaron you can try to blame me all you want for this but we all now your the more odd one in this couple!

Heather thats so true and i totally forgot about that, the thing i cant get over is his new look. he does look really good in glasses! guess he can only get more attractive without! lol

I still think I'd rather have the protection between my soft eye tissue and the hissing, freaking-out animal in pain :D But it will help-- I'm just jealous!!

I know what you mean Leighann but eye glasses dont really protect you enough to make a difference. And the biggest thing is we dont know if he will be small animal or large for sure (it will depend on the job offer) and in that case the glasses become a hazard with a hoof to the face!

And both heather and leighann dont count yourself out! The only reason we are doing it now is because we have the money to get it done and we know in a year it wont be possible. and you guys might find yourself in a position to get it done yourselves.

The way my mom puts it is this is a gift to your older self.

anyway love ya guys!

When I did the math when I was considering having it done it was going to pay for itself in 7 years not having to buy contacts or solution.

I know Aaron wears glasses but it is an investment.
