Music

I am in the middle of working on my first big project for my MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) class at RCC. As I finish assignments, and also when I am progressing on a project, I convert it to MP3 format so I can show Leighann at home.

After showing her the song I am working on today she suggested I share it and others with the family as well. Below you will find a video with three pieces of music I wrote for my class. The first two are short and simple, and the third is a full piece of music that, as stated above, I am in the process of fine tuning.

I hope you enjoy them.

If you guys can think of any improvements for the last piece please let me know as I am still working on it and I can implement any useful criticism. Thank you.

I LOVE the last piece (you know how I feel about video gaming music-- pretty sure my brothers traumatized me too much growing up, haha). And thank you for also putting your project on a separate file so I can put it on my playlist and listen to you at work :D I love you!!

Peter,
Thanks for posting. Great job. As I listened to the third piece while looking at the picture, I visualized a Roman Legion marching out of the mist along the road on the way to conquest in a far and distant land. Maybe it was the combination of the soft music set to drums that beat out a marshal beat. Don't really know, but that is what I visualized. Great job! Dad

I visualized a nice big buck walking down that mountain range that I could shoot, but maybe that's because it's deer season and I almost shot one today.

Great job on the music! You'll have to explain it a little better about the process and everything the next time we have dinner together.

I think the music reminds me of a sequence at the end of a battle as the good guys are walking out victorious and wounded. Very powerful. Thanks for sharing!
