Prayers Needed Please

I found out yesterday that my studio is in danger of going under. We haven't been able to lock down any new contracts in over a month, and the very promising leads we had out to different publishers turned out to be dead-ends. Starting today our entire studio is on furlough for the next 2 weeks while we wait to hear on other proposals we currently have out.

My Studio Director said he expects to hear positive news before the 2 weeks are over, but he was expecting to lock down several contracts by now and nothing panned out. Best case scenario, we pick up a contract and all go back to work in 2 weeks (with back pay for these 2 weeks of leave without pay), worst case scenario, all our leads fall through and I'm laid off again.

This is an incredibly stressful time for Heather and I, and would very much appreciate our family remembering us in your prayers. It's such a blessing having Aaron and Shannon here, we're planning on going to the temple tomorrow evening, and they offered to watch our kids for us.

We know the Lord is aware of our needs, and we will be trying to use this trial as an opportunity to grow closer to Him and to each other.

Just when we thought things were starting to settle down a little for your family--you will be in our thoughts and prayers constantly. Are you going to use the next two weeks to start looking for another job? Is there any chance that Budcat might be getting ready to re-boot? You once told me that there are studios in St. Louis, might be worth checking out. Love you Son.
