So Dave was not able to go back to work. The contract that was supposed to be signed fell through because of lack of funding. Dave has continued working on his own game for his old boss in Virginia. It is almost ready for the app store. We have been hanging on looking for Gods plan in all this. Dave will be hearing back from his old job he in Springfield, his old job back in Virginia, and a possible new position in st Louis all on Monday. Please keep us in your prayers. We hope that something on Monday will be good news. We are rooting for st Louis but we are willing to do whatever the lord wants us to do. Thanks for all your prayers already.

I am a bit confused by the comments.
Is David getting three more months of work? Are they living with Mom and Dad? Why is Peter getting experience for what is happening to David (Leighann's post)? And is Greg saying "love you" to Mom and Dad or to David?

I wrote the note about David going to work on Monday because I knew D's Heather was extremely busy.
Leighann had on an earlier post told David Peter would be willing to write the music for a video game for free so he could have the experience. So I am assuming Peter will get to do that.
David is getting at least 3 more months work, but he also has other "irons in the fire", too.
And I'm sure Greg's Love you is for me!
And they are not living with us.
Hey, so since Kate is keeping me up anyways I might as well post an update! ( this is David)
I started back at Black Lantern yesterday, Leading 2 projects simultaneously, a mobile version of the game Cash Cab on the Discovery Channel, and an interactive storybook for the iPad of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. ( I finally get to let out my inner "Brony"!!)
So these both ship early February, so that means I have a job at least until then. After that I may take a job for my former boss opening a game studio right here in Springfield! He was going to offer me that job Monday, but I told him to wait a few months to make sure Nick and Jane shipped and started bringing in some money.
Anyway, thank you everyone for keeping us in your prayers! We know the Lord answers prayers! We love you all!

Why do you need your old boss to "hire" you-- you have the talent and skills and ambition to launch out on your own, I would think. Have you thought of starting your own company? I'm sure you can find some venture capitalist or angels to invest...
