We had the most wonderful day at the Nauvoo Temple. Grandma Gibbons is now sealed to her parents and to Grandpa. And the most touching was Dad being sealed to his parents. David got to be proxy for Grandpa, which is only fitting since his middle name is for grandpa. There were many tears shed! We know Grandma was happy! Love you all.

Family,
Saturday was a truly unique experience. Mom & I stood in for Grandpa and Grandma for their sealing, followed by David & Mom standing in for them while I was sealed to them -- forever! A member of the Temple presidency presided and told us of a comment from President Condi (Temple President) who instructed that the curse mentioned in Malachi's prophecy concerning the turning of the hearts was the break between the living and the dead within families that bridged all generations. That curse was removed for the Gibbons' family Saturday when I was sealed to my Mother and Father. Thank you all for your participation, thoughts and prayers. They were felt in abundance in Nauvoo during all the ordinance work. Love you all. Dad
We had a great time at the Redlands temple as well and were so happy to be with the family here in California. Love you Dad and are so happy you finally were able to be sealed to your parents.
It was definitely a very sweet day for us, as well! We all enjoyed a wonderful lunch at one of mine and Peter's favorite Thai places afterwards, and it was great to see all the family gathered together. Wish we could have been in Nauvoo with you all, but glad we were all temple worthy to be there in spirit :D Love you, Mom and Dad!!
