Grandma Johns story

A childhood friend of mine from Primary and elementary school found me on Facebook. We had been communicating back and forth. Her house in rural Utah burned to the ground and I don't know a lot of details on why, but their fire insurance had lapsed.  I sent her a small amount of money to help and she sent me this letter. I had never heard this story about my mother and was touched that she would share this memory. I wanted you kids to see it, too.   I think this is my 3rd or 4th grade school photo.

That is awesome. In that picture, you look just like Heather!

Oh my gosh I was going to say the same thing! I never realized how much Heather looks like you did when you were a kid, Mom! If someone showed me that picture and said it was Heather, I totally would have believed it in a heartbeat.

Thanks for posting this Mom, I miss Grandma Johns. Just the other day I was remembering playing that little organ over at her house.

Thank you so much for sharing this, Momma!! We come from such great roots. :D

And if Greg and David think that looks like Heather, they should see your college portrait next to her senior pictures!! The likeness is so uncanny!!
