Vet school update

Hey All!
Just wanted to post an update regarding vet school. I received a letter stating that I am on the waiting list for this upcoming year, so my waiting isn't over! I'm not overly optimistic however, since I called the school to get information. They don't tell how many people are on the list, and they don't tell you where you stand on the list, either. However, I was told that the list is longer than normal this year, and that, had it not been longer, I would probably not have made the list at all. My non-academic score is average, but my academic score is below average, so I'd imagine quite a few people need to decline before I get accepted. I was told that normally 10-15 spots open up by the end of April, so if I don't hear anything by then, chances are I'm not going.
Should I be declined, I will continue taking classes to fulfill criteria for other veterinary colleges, along with a few medical schools as a backup, and I will apply to them all again next year while working on my qualifications.
I'm really trying to focus on the eternal perspective and God's plan for Shannon and I, so please keep us in your prayers!
I love you all,
Aaron

I will continue to pray that you'll get in, if it's God's will. Love you, Mom

You have a degree already. Maybe vet school won't happen, but I just know something better will come along, if you continue living the Gospel and doing your part. Know this Son, we are proud of you no matter what direction your career takes. Love you.

Congratulations on getting an experience in which you can put all your faith and trust in. I know that probably wasn't the congrats you were hoping for, but still, we will be optimistic and faithful and keep you both in our prayers for Heavenly Father's will to be done! Love you square head.
