June Highlights

Jacob loved his lightning bolt cake.  I am now a mother of a teenager!  He just had his first MRI after the surgery and everything still looks good.  The tumor hasn't come back.  His next MRI is in August.  Hopefully it will have the same results.
Sarah was excited to make her own cake this year.  It turned out really good.

Elizabeth had her first ballet recital that wasn't just two families watching at the church.  She was nervous to have all the people watching but she did great.
My oldest niece, Dianne, got married in the Houston Temple.  Boy it was hot, but the temple is beautiful.

She wanted a rice crispy cake.  It was a lot of fun to make.

Becca loved the chocolate fountain and the dancing.

Holy cow! I love that idea of the rice crispy cake! Is it solid, or is it just a shell?

I put a Styrofoam block in the middle of the largest one, but the rest are solid rice crispies. It took 14 batches of rice crispies to make the whole thing!

We're so grateful the MRI came back clean. We will continue to put Jacob's name on the temple prayer roll so the Aug one will be clear, too.

I LOVE THAT CAKE!! Seriously, why didn't I think of that for our wedding?? I love rice crispies-- i could eat a whole pan by myself, no problem. It is great to see pics and everyone looking so good (I would say happy, but you can tell that it was a hot day in some of those wedding pics) :D The kids are getting so big. I LOVE that last pic of Scott and Becca. So cute :D
