My new calling!

I was released last week from teaching seminary - 12 years was enough, I guess.  Actually, I don't guess - I knew it was time and when I prayed about it, I knew it was time for sure.
So now I've been called to teach in Primary!!!  I have 4 little boys in the CTR 6 & 7 class. I haven't taught a Primary class since Tommy was 11 years old.  Hope this old lady can have enough patience.

Congrats Mom! You have worked very hard at your seminary calling and I am sure the Lord is very grateful for helping the kids you did. And now you get to help the little ones! Super exciting!

Have fun :)

YAY! Not quite the primary calling you were hoping for, but still a great calling you will have so much fun with!

That is a great age. You will do great. At least it is not Primary President and Relief Society President at the same time : )

I think I had mentioned to Heather-weather that primary chorister would be fun. That must be what she was referring to. And Heather, how right you are! In this little branch it could be much more work.
And I've always liked working with boys. Gee, I wonder why?

And Tom, it was very bitter-sweet to attend my last seminary graduation. At least 4 of my 5 students got the Stake President's Award! That made me proud of them. I will miss all of the personal blessings that came from teaching seminary.

You were always my favorite seminary teacher! I hope you enjoy the little ones now. Think of it as preparing them for seminary or a mission.
And I totally chuckled at Leighanns comment!
