Oral Exam
So on Thursday of this week I will sit for my Oral Exam. What I will do is give a 15 minute powerpoint overview of my proposed research for my dissertation in front of five professors. They will then take the next 2 hours and 45 minutes to ask me questions and grill me on my proposal. If I pass, I will then officially be ABD (All but Dissertation), and be approved to work on my research. If they do not think I am ready, then I have to study up and go back in front of them. I am feeling somewhat ready, but quite nervous.

if you want to Tom you could always practice your presentation in front of me. I know I wont have many questions for you that would actually help but I know education stuff so it might be a benefit to you. If not thats fine, just thought I would offer.
