Devil's Punchbowl

At Devil's Punchbowl Park. It is where the San Andreas Fault line is. There are a lot of trails, mostly long. We did a shorter one...7.4 miles called Devil's Chair!!!

The kids were always way in front of me. You can see them tiny.

This is the end (middle) of the hike. It is a hike out and back trail.
We had lunch in the look out.

Ham rolls!

It was all day fun. We started at 10:35am and got back to the car at 2:20. The kids were troopers and did amazing!

7.4 miles is the short one!? Man I think I am not ready for that. I'll find some 2 milers haha. Good to see your family fits right in with the wilderness.

That looks like so much fun! I bet the kids had no trouble at all getting it done. Especially with hamrolls powering them!

The weather is nice right now since it is cooling off-- has it been cooler up there in the High Desert at all? It's been cold and rainy all day today (Wednesday), and I'm hoping it will stay that way the rest of the week, even though I had to move audit rooms at the Client's, so now I can't watch the rain any more :( But I got to watch it a little this afternoon, and got soaked coming back from lunch :D

Glad Grandpa got them warmed up for this hike with his one in August:) And, the weather here in MO is absolutely beautiful right now. Fall is the nicest time of year here.

What beautiful pictures! And what a fun activity! We gotta start planning fun healthy hikes. (Ham rolls would make a good incentive for me!)
