Prayers needed!!!

David asked me to post --- they are taking Robbie to the hospital. He has had a sore on his bum that was getting worse, despite everything they tried. The dr today said he needed to go to the hospital to have it taken care of because it was close to an artery or something, and they didn't want the infection going to the bloodstream.  Please pray for a quick recovery and that the drs will know how to heal him. Poor little almost 4 month old :(  And poor Mommy and Daddy. Keep them all in your prayers.

I'm so sorry you guys! Poor little Robbie, and yes, definitely poor mommy and daddy too! I'd hate to watch my baby go through that. Just with my one little baby, I've learned how hard it is to keep their bums clean and dry and try everything to make the rash better and it just doesn't. These things just happen on freak accidents I guess. Of course we will keep him in our prayers. I'll go say one right now!

I was telling my co-workers about Robbie's sore, and one of them told me about a thing called MRSA (pronounced Mersa)that I had never heard of before, but she said it sounded like that. So I went home and told David and Heather about it (my co-worker's Missouri accent is so thick, I thought she had called it Mercer, so that is what David Googled). When Heather took Robbie in, the doctor confirmed that was what it was! We feel like my co-worker was inspired to tell me about it so that Robbie could get the help needed-- the sore is on his stomach, just under the diaper line, and it was HUGE and so gross, this accountant could not bear to look at it. I feel so grateful to my co-worker who told me about MRSA!

Leighann, you're going to have to get over that easily grossed out thing when you have your own kids! It'll happen
