Don't know why I picked a frog.

Guess he might live in a bog.

I probably could have picked a dog,

Or, my favorite, some egg nog.

I don't know which animal you like,

But I know you just learned to ride a bike!

You told those training wheels 'Take a hike!'

And you definitely don't need to ride a trike.

I like this frog's smile,

But it trails yours by a mile!

You always show yours with style,

Even if we only get to see it once in a while.

Our sweet, dear, Carlie, it's true,

We want to say 'Happy Birthday' to you.
