Gibbons genealogy

Exciting Gibbons genealogy news!
Your 3 great grandfather John Gibbons immigrated from Ireland sometime in the 1850's. I have not been able to find any immigration record.  BUT, I did find John's siblings! I have long suspected that there were brothers because of the names and places (Peoria, IL in particular).  Ancestry.com helped me find other people who had obituaries, newspaper articles about a reunion, and then I could follow the census records and FindaGrave to fill out the families.  A couple of the "trees" on Ancestry were the kind that just copy someone else's without checking sources, but the person I got in contact with was very careful with sources.
I also was able to get a photo of one of the brothers, Jeffrey and his wife Sarah Ellen.  I think he reminds me of Grandpa Gibbons (Bill). What do you think?
Now we have LOTS more names to take to the temple. If your family would like to do baptisms, etc. let me know.  Also, I have many sealings to do. Let me know!

He looks SOOO much like Grandpa Gibbons, it's crazy!! They could have been twins! Very cool, and thank you for sharing, Momma!! Peter and I would love to have some names and do sealings-- that would be wonderful! :D

Speaking of twins - this man, Jeffrey, is a twin with Austin, born in 1824. Then the next generation had some twins, and the following generation, too. So I guess Tom and Magi cme by their twins on both sides of the family (I think I remember Magi saying she had twins in her family.)

Heather's sister is pregnant with twins too (Aubrey) so maybe the next pregnancy for Heather she will get her twins too!?
Wonderful the way the Lord blesses us to fulfill his purposes and our salvation.
We would take any names. Anna and Tom are going to the temple Sat to do baptism's. Is that too quick to send them names?

Our primary has a goal of collecting 100 names ready for temple baptisms. Any you could send our way would be great!

So cool! Thanks for sharing, momma! If there are any names left over, Roy and I would love to do them with you all in MO when we come for Christmas. I think that'd be really fun!
