Interior Reading space; the stairs/opening on the left leads into the existing Newberry facility.
More perspectives. I had a lot more drawings for the pin up, but don't need to put them all here.
Here are photos of the final model I built.
The model is at 1/32"=1'-0" so the whole model is only about 9 inches x 6 inches. The little black pegs are to represent people (6' = 3/32" tall). I didn't have time to make a larger model and needed this one to sit with the large site model for context.
8 semesters down, 1 to go!

That is seriously SO cool! I love that you share your projects with us. I'm sure they take soooo much work and it's fun to celebrate the finished project with family! I really like the idea of the projection screen and feel that'd be nice for multiple places to implement that hold big concerts and whatnot like that.
What do you do with the model you built after you've turned it in? Do you get it returned and let Emily use it as a doll house or something? haha
One word - Amazing! (I'm sure the emphasis is on the "A", cuz that's the grade you must have gotten.)
Wonderful job Son. I notice that you did not share the comment that one of the project reviewers gave at the end of your presentation. I believe he said, "Well you are obviously ready to be awarded your architect degree and start pulling down some big bucks." or words to that effect! Sure proud of you Son. Love ya,
Dad
Very cool, Mark!! But what is this?!? A library for ants?!? It has to be... at least... THREE times as big!
Seriously though, super cool! You are very talented, and I can't wait to see what your future career holds for you (especially as you already have started an awesome career with a great company!)
Very talented! Glad you are close to done with school!
