Our sweet young man received the priesthood today. As a parent nothing is more pleasing to me then my children wanting to follow Christ and keep His commandments. Matthew is so willing to serve and be a good example. We are so glad he is our son.
That is so wonderful!!! Matthew, know that holding the Priesthood is a great honor, and always strive to be worthy to use that authority. Wish we were there so you could pass the sacrament to us, but know that your Uncle Peter and Aunt Leighann are very proud of the young man you're becoming! Love you!!
That's so crazy to think Matthew is old enough for the Priesthood now! Congrats, Matthew! We love you, and we know you'll continue to be a great priesthood holder.
You're pretty cool I guess. I mean I knew you were cool when you did that insane cinnamon challenge but now that you have the priest hood you are even more awesome! Way to be a great example Matt! We sure miss you guys!

Wish we could have been there! You've always had such a kind, charitable disposition, Matthew, even when you were just a little toddler. It's so crazy how fast time has flown by! I know you will be a wonderful Priesthood holder, we sure love you and are so proud of you!
WOW! This is so great! I'm beside myself to know that Matthew has the priesthood! I know that your father in heaven will bless you with service, to honor the priesthood is to exercise the priesthood righteously. You sure have a great example in your home!
