I'm out of the hospital now and doing pretty good. I'm still really sore and slow, but that is to be expected. By the end of my hospital stay, I had recieved seven units of blood so I say a little recuperation time is needed. It is great to be home and able to move around a bit, though.
Rebecca is doing great. She is on room oxygen, but just has to have a little flow to keep her lungs
moving. She is tolerating her food ok through a tube, but it will take a while before she is able to actually eat with a bottle. All she has to do is grow now.
We were able to hold her for the first time today. It was great. She was awake and squeaking at us the whole time. We think she was complaining about how the mean nurse abused her.
