So after about a year and a half trying to eek out a meager existence in the harsh wilds of Arlington VA, one of the most expensive places to live in the world, I have a phone interview tomorrow at noon with Black Lantern Studios, an Activision game company based in Springfield MO! It would be for a Lead Artist position on an upcoming family-friendly title for the Nintendo DS, or 3DS.
It looks like I would be a perfect fit for the job, and am asking the family to keep us in your prayers please. We really really really REALLY want this job! -Heather has already been looking at houses there, and whatever the exact opposite of "sticker-shock" is, we are experiencing it! :-)

Thank you everyone for the support and prayers! The phone interview went really really well today! I have my second interview tomorrow with the other 2 Lead Artists, and after that I think I'll get an offer! It sounded very promising! :-)

Well, just had my second phone interview with the other Art Leads and it seemed to go really well! They said the would be in touch in the next several days to let me know either way!

Hey guys, nothing definitive just yet, (this week is E3, the biggest game convention in the world) and the studio head is there. I shot him a quick email, and he said "As a quick informal heads up, you'll be receiving some positive updates from us soon.
