Robbie had surgery yesterday (Thurs) to clean out the wound. He has been on IV antibiotics, but now gets to go home. The drs still have no idea how he contracted the bacteria that caused this. On the Internet, it said that MRSA is prevalent in jails, nursing homes, and day care situations. With David's usual humor he said, "I knew we shouldn't have had that 80 yr old jailbird who ran a daycare take care of Robbie". And if you missed David's Heather's FB post - she said Robbie now has 15 new girlfriends because all of the nurses loved him.
