Well, no big exciting news just yet, but I did want to let anyone interested know whats going on with us. After I lost my job with FiLo right before Christmas, Heather and I have been praying for the Lord to guide us as to what we should do next. We both got the clear impression that I need to act on the idea I've had for years now, to start my own Game Production studio and move forward with my business idea of making games for YouTube celebrities.
I've done the work, I've crunched the numbers, and tonight I sent the email to get this ball rolling. It's a big moment for us, so hopefully I'll hear back relatively soon about it.
We've decided to contact Rhett and Link in order to see if they would be interested in licensing my new studio (Qiwi Games - www.qiwigames.com) to make their first official game. Anyone who has spent a certain amount of time on YouTube will have seen SOMETHING by these guys, they are internet sensations, creating tons of viral video hits over the years.

I won't go into all the business details here right now, but we should be finding out within the next few days if this project will happen. If Rhett and Link are on board, this would be very, very good for our family.
I'll keep you all posted on our progress, in the mean-time, please continue to remember us in your prayers. We have felt the guiding hand of the Lord in our lives lately more than ever, and I know the power of prayer can accomplish real miracles!

That's so exciting! I hadn't heard of Rhett and Link, but after watching a few of their videos, I'd say their humor is right up your alley! The belly button song was pretty funny. Any ideas what the game would be, yet? A singing one like guitar hero, or something for mobile devices?

Haha, Peter went and hung out at the locations they were asking people to come to if they wanted to participate. I had work, so I couldn't participate, but he took two friends with him :D He had a lot of fun doing it.
